Boeing Future Factory
Boeing Future Factory
Project Concept / Boeing "Future Factory" Concept Phase grew out of the vision and learning from Boeing "Move to the Lake", but Boeing Everett is a sizable jump in scale. The Boeing Everett Plant is the largest building in the world, having a footprint that is close to 90 acres. Conceptual strategies focused on the complete integration of engineering and manufacturing. "Canyon" became the guiding concept for a holistic integration of the towers (engineering) and the floor (manufacturing). The concept phase involved developing a master plan for over 1 million s.f. of workplace offices, and the development of integrated components of the floor area.
