Project Design Principles:
1. Create an abundance of natural light balanced with personal privacy.
2. Embrace the views.
3. Contemporary warmth of materials and detailing.
4. Anchored/grounded vs levity/lightness.
5. Clarity of separation between private and collective spaces.

Organizational Approach:
The house is organized in harmony with the sloping site to take advantage of the views of Puget sound. The lower level is of masonry and includes; kitchen, living area and dining area. A large patio (semi-covered) and green roof stretch outward/Westward from the Living area. The upper level includes; master bedroom/bath, office and second bedroom/bath. The stair connecting the two levels has a large skylight above bring natural light to both levels.
